ঢাকা ৭ আসনের সংসদ সদস্য হামিদুর রহমান হামিদ আজ লালবাগ ডিসি অফিসে লালবাগ জোনের উপপুলিশ কমিশনার সহ বিভিন্ন থানার অফিসার ইনচার্জ ও পুলিশের ঊর্ধ্বতন কর্মকর্তাদের উপস্থিতিতে ঢাকা-৭ আসনের জনগণের জীবন ও জানমালের নিরাপত্তা নিশ্চিতকরণে একটি জরুরি আলোচনা সভা অনুষ্ঠিত হয়।

সভায় যানজট নিরসন, সন্ত্রাস ও চাঁদাবাজি দমন, মাদকমুক্ত সমাজ গঠন, কিশোর গ্যাং প্রতিরোধ, ছিনতাইকারী দমন এবং অলিগলিসহ সর্বত্র নারীদের নিরাপদ চলাচল নিশ্চিত করার লক্ষ্যে কার্যকর পদক্ষেপ গ্রহণের বিষয়ে বিস্তারিত আলোচনা করেন।

জননিরাপত্তা জোরদার ও একটি শান্তিপূর্ণ, সুশৃঙ্খল সমাজ গঠনে সংশ্লিষ্ট সকলকে সমন্বিতভাবে কাজ করার আহ্বান জানান।
