লোহাগাড়ায় ১২ হাজার পিচ ইয়াবাসহ ৩ মাদক ব্যবসায়ী আটক

চট্টগ্রামের লোহাগাড়া উপজেলার চুনতি ইউনিয়নের চট্টগ্রাম-কক্সবাজার আরকান সড়কের জাঙ্গালিয়া নামক স্হান হতে দুই মহিলাসহ ৩মাদক ব্যবসায়ীকে আটক করেছে থানা পুলিশ।এসময় তাদের কাছ থেকে ১২হাজার পিচ ইয়াবা উদ্ধার করা হয়।

বিষয়টি লোহাগাড়া থানার অফিসার ইনচার্জ মুহাম্মদ জাকের হোসাইন মাহমুদ নিশ্চিত করেছেন।

আটককৃতরা হলেন-কক্সবাজার ঈদগাহ ভিলিজার পাড়ার মৃত নাজির হোসেনের পুত্র শামশুল আলম(৪৩), ঈদগাহ জাগির পাড়া এলাকার সৈয়দ আহমদের স্ত্রী খালেদা বেগম(৩২) একই এলাকার রফিকের স্ত্রী ছালেহা বেগম(৩১)।

জানা যায়, গোপন সংবাদের ভিত্তিতে ৮ ফেব্রুয়ারি”২০২০ইং সকাল সাড়ে ১০টার দিকে লোহাগাড়া থানার ওসি জাকের হোসাইন মাহমুদ,পুলিশ পরিদর্শক(তদন্ত) মুহাম্মদ রাশেদুল ইসলাম,সেকেন্ড অফিসার এসআই মুহাম্মদ আবদুল হক,এসআই গোলাম কিবরিয়ার নেতৃত্বে একটি পুলিশি টিম জাঙ্গালিয়া নামক স্হানে চট্টগ্রাম অভিমুখি মাইক্রোবাস গাড়ি থামিয়ে যাত্রীদের শরীর তল্লাসী চালিয়ে ১২হাজার পিচ ইয়াবাসহ ৩মাদক ব্যবসায়ীকে আটক করে থানা হেফাজতে নিয়ে আসে।

অাটককৃতদের বিরুদ্ধে মাদকদ্রব্য নিয়ন্ত্রণ আইনে মামলা রুজু করা হয়েছে এবং তাদের ৩জনকে চট্টগ্রাম আদালতে প্রেরণ করা হয়েছে বলে জানিয়েছেন লোহাগাড়া থানার অফিসার ইনচার্জ মুহাম্মদ জাকের হোসাইন মাহমুদ।
