ঢাকার কেরানীগঞ্জে সদ্য প্রয়াত তেঘরিয়া ইউনিয়ন পরিষদের জনপ্রিয় চেয়ারম্যান ও বিশিষ্ট ব্যবসায়ী দানবীর হাজী মোঃ জজ মিয়ার পরিবারকে সমবেদনা জানালেন বিদ্যুত,জ্বালানি ও খনিজ সম্পদ প্রতিমন্ত্রী নসরুল হামিদ বিপু। আজ সোমবার দুপুর ২টায় তিনি বাঘৈর গ্রামে মরহুম হাজী মোঃ জজ মিয়ার বাড়িতে এসে তার শোক সপ্তক পরিবারকে সমবেদনা জানান। এসময় প্রতিমন্ত্রীকে কাছে পেয়ে পরিবারের সকল সদস্যরা কান্নায় ভেঙ্গে পড়েন। মন্ত্রী তাদের শান্তনা দেন এবং তাদের পাশে থাকার আশ্বাস দেন। এদিকে হাজী মোঃ জজ মিয়ার পরিবারের সকল সদস্য,তেঘরিয়া ইউনিয়নের মেম্বরগন এবং বিভিন্ন ওয়ার্ডের গন্যমান্য ব্যাক্তিবর্গ হাজী মোঃ জজ মিয়ার বড় ভাই হাজী মোঃ লাট মিয়াকে তেঘরিয়া ইউনিয়ন পরিষদের চেয়ারম্যান নির্বাচিত করার দাবি জানান। এতে প্রতিমন্ত্রী নসরুল হামিদ বিপু উপজেলা চেয়ারম্যান শাহীন আহমেদের সাথে আলাপ করে এব্যাপারে সিদ্বান্ত নেয়া হবে বলে তাদের সবাইকে আশস্ত করেন। উল্লেখ্য গত ৩১ মে রাতে সৌদি আরবে ওমরা পালনের সময় পবিত্র মদিনা শরীফে একটি মসজিদে নামাজ পড়ার সময় হৃদ যন্ত্রের ক্রিয়া বন্ধ হয়ে আকস্মিকভাবে হাজী মোঃ জজ মিয়া মৃত্যুবরন করেন। মৃত্যুকালে তার বয়স হয়েছিল ৫২বছর। তিনি স্ত্রী দুই ছেলে ও দুই মেয়েসহ অসংখ্য আত্বীয় স্বজন গুনগ্রাহী রেখে গেছেন। তিনি তেঘরয়িয়া ইউনিয়ন পরিষদের পরপর দুইবার নির্বাচিত চেয়ারম্যান ছিলেন। তিনি দানবীরখ্যাত জনপ্রীয় চেয়ারম্যান ও সাদামনের মানুষ হিসেবে সবার কাছে তার ব্যাপক পরিচিত ছিল। তাকে সৌদি আরবের মদিনা নগরে জান্নাতুল বাকীতে সমাহিত করা হয়েছে।
