দেশি সঙ্গীত জগতের সুন্দরী – সুরেলা কণ্ঠশিল্পী রাকা পপি।নতুন প্রজন্মের কণ্ঠশিল্পী রাকা পপি একের পর এক নতুন গান দিয়েই দর্শকদের কাছে ইতোমধ্যে জনপ্রিয়তা পেয়েছেন।
এই গায়িকা একের পর এক নতুন গান দিয়েই শ্রোতা – দর্শকদের কাছে জনপ্রিয়তা পেয়েছেন। তেমনি দারুন সুন্দর গায়কীর কল্যাণে তরুণ প্রজন্মের গায়িকা হিসেবে তাদের মনে জায়গা করে নিয়েছেন রাকা পপি। এক্ষেত্রে একের পর এক মৌলিক গান দিয়ে ইতোমধ্যেই দেশ এবং দেশের গন্ডি পেরিয়ে বাংলা বিদেশেও ভাষাভাষীদের কাছে তার পরিচিতি গড়ে ওঠেছে।
রাকা পপি আসন্ন ঈদুল আযহায় আবারও নতুন গান নিয়ে নিজের ভক্ত – শ্রোতা – দর্শকের সামনে আসছেন। ঈদ উপলক্ষে তার গাওয়া মৌলিক গান ‘তোমার নামে লিখে দেবো পুরো বাংলাদেশ’ মুক্তি পাচ্ছে আজ (৬ জুন বৃহস্পতিবার)। মিউজিক ভিডিও আকারে এই গানটি Raka Popi Official ইউটিউব চ্যানেলে রিলিজ হচ্ছে বলে জানালেন গায়িকা রাকা পপি।
নিজের গাওয়া এই গান প্রসঙ্গে রাকা পপি বলেন, এটি একটি ভিন্নধর্মী লোক আঙ্গিকের প্রেমের গান এটি। ভালোবাসার জন্য একজন মেয়ে কত কিছু করার চিন্তা ভাবনা করতে পারে, সেই বিষয়টি অনেক গুরুত্বসহকারে ফুটে উঠেছে এতে। গানটি দর্শক শ্রোতাদের মনে স্থান করে নেবে বলে রাকা পপি মনে করেন। রাকা পপি জানিয়েছেন, ‘তোমার নামে লিখে দেবো পুরো বাংলাদেশ’ গানটির গীতিকার ও সুর করেছেন বিখ্যাত বাউল শিল্পী, সুরকার এবং সংগীত পরিচালক শাহ আলম সরকার। সংগীত পরিচালনা করেছেন আর জয় (মুম্বাই)। জীবন চন্দ্র দাস এর পরিচালনায় নির্মাণকৃত মিউজিক ভিডিওতে অভিনয় করেছেন মহিমা চৌধুরী এবং শিমুল চৌধুরী।
ইতিপূর্বে ‘প্রেম নগর’, ‘ও কালাচাঁন’, ‘সব কথা হবে না বলা’, ‘গোধুলি বিকেল’, ‘ভালোবাসার ধরন’সহ প্রায় অর্ধ শতাধিক মৌলিক গানে তিনি কন্ঠ দিয়েছেন বলে জানান শিল্পী রাকা পপি। তিনি বাংলাদেশ টেলিভিশন, বাংলাদেশ বেতার ও বাংলাদেশ শিল্পকলা একাডেমিতে আধুনিক ও লোকগীতির গানের তালিকাভুক্ত কণ্ঠশিল্পী। বাংলাদেশ টেলিভিশন, বেতার, বাংলাদেশ শিল্পকলা একাডেমিসহ দেশের বিভিন্ন টেলিভিশন চ্যানেল এবং দেশ এবং দেশের বাইরে ভারতের পশ্চিমবঙ্গ, উড়িষ্যা, ট্রিপুরাসহ বিভিন্ন রাজ্যের স্টেজ শো’তে নিয়মিতভাবে সংগীত পরিবেশন করে ব্যস্ত সময় পার করছেন তিনি।
