চট্টগ্রাম মহানগরের আকবর শাহ হাউজিং এলাকায় আওয়ামী লীগের স্থানীয় দুটি উপ-গ্রুপের সংঘর্ষে মো. মাসুদ (২৮) নামে এক যুবক নিহত হয়েছেন। শুক্রবার (১ ফেব্রুয়ারি) রাত আটটার দিকে এ সংঘর্ষ হয়।

ঘটনার সত্যতা নিশ্চিত করেছেন চট্টগ্রাম মেডিকেল কলেজ হাসপাতাল পুলিশ ফাঁড়ির এএসআই আলাউদ্দিন তালুকদার।
তিনি জানান, আকবর শাহ থানার আকবর শাহ হাউজিং এলাকায় আওয়ামী লীগের স্থানীয় দুটি উপ-গ্রুপের সংঘর্ষে গুরুতর আহতাবস্থায় মাসুদ নামে এক যুবককে হাসপাতালে আনা হয়। তার সারা শরীরে ছুরিকাঘাতের চিহ্ন রয়েছে। পরীক্ষা শেষে কর্তব্যরত চিকিৎসক তাকে মৃত ঘোষণা করেন।’
