আজ ৩ ফেব্রুয়ারি বাংলাদেশ মফস্বল সাংবাদিক ফোরাম বিএমএসএফ কেন্দ্রীয় সভাপতি শহীদুল ইসলাম পাইলট বলেছেন, ঐক্যবদ্ধ আন্দোলনের মাধ্যমে সাংবাদিকদের অধিকার আদায় সম্ভব। ঐক্যবদ্ধ আন্দোলন ছাড়া কোন অধিকারই সম্ভব নয়। সাংবাদিকদের ঐক্যবদ্ধ হওয়ার সময় এসেছে। তিনি রোববার বিকাল ৩টায় বিএমএসএফ’র কেন্দ্রীয় কমিটির সাধারণ সভায় সভাপতির বক্তব্যে একথা বলেছেন।
তোপখানা রোডস্থ ক্যাফে বাগদাদের হলরুমে অনুষ্ঠিত সভায় বক্তব্য রাখেন কেন্দ্রীয় সাধারণ সম্পাদক আহমেদ আবু জাফর। তিনি তার বক্তব্যে বলেন, বিএমএসএফ দেশের মুক্তিযুদ্ধ ও স্বাধীনতায় বিশ্বাস করে। সাংবাদিকদের অধিকার প্রতিষ্ঠায় বিএমএসএফ ১৪ দফা দাবি নিয়ে কাজ করছে। সকল ভেদাভেদ ভুলে গিয়ে সাংবাদিকদের কল্যানে কাজ করতে হবে।
গ্রীণ মুভমেন্টের সহায়তায় অনুষ্ঠিত সভায় বক্তব্য রাখেন বিএমএসএফ’র আইন উপদেষ্টা এ্যাড. কাওসার হোসাইন, সেভ দ্যা রোড’র মোমিন মেহেদী, গ্রীণ মুভমেন্ট’র চেয়ারম্যান বাপ্পি সরদার, পরিচালক ড. মিজানুর রহমান, সংগঠনের সহ-সভাপতি হেদায়েত উল্লাহ মানিক, যুগ্ম-সাধারণ সম্পাদক মোশারফ হোসেন নীলু, সাংগঠনিক সম্পাদক আবুল কালাম আজাদ, আব্দুল হামিদ খান, আমিনুল ইসলাম আহাদ, সহ-সাংগঠনিক সম্পাদক মোহাম্মদ আলী সুমন, উপ-প্রচার সম্পাদক সানজিদা আক্তার, আইটি সম্পাদক মাজনুন মাসুদ, কেন্দ্রীয় সদস্য আকরাম হোসেন, সিরাজুল ইসলাম জীবন, ঢাকা জেলার সাধারণ সম্পাদক উজ্জল ভুইয়া , সাংগঠনিক সম্পাদক আবু বকর তালুকদার, রফিকুল ইসলাম মিরপুরী, কবির নেওয়াজ, আমেনা ইসলাম, রিতা আকতার রিয়া, আনিস মাহমুদ লিমন, দীন ইসলাম প্রমুখ বক্তব্য রাখেন।
সভায় অগ্নিঝরা মার্চ উপলক্ষে আগামি ১লা মার্চ সাভার জাতীয় স্মৃতিসৌদে ‘স্বাধীনতা শোভাযাত্রা ও আলোচনা অনুষ্ঠানের সিদ্ধান্ত গ্রহন করা হয়। অনুষ্ঠানে মন্ত্রী,এমপি, দেশবরেণ্য ব্যক্তিবর্গ উপস্থিত থাকবেন। এতে বিএমএসএফ’র সকল জেলা/উপজেলা কমিটির নেতৃবৃন্দ অংশগ্রহন করবেন।
সভায় কার্যনির্বাহী কমিটিতে চট্টগ্রামের আজগর আলী মানিককে সাংগঠনিক সম্পাদক, পটুয়াখালীর মিজানুর রহমানকে পুনরায় সাংগঠনিক সম্পাদক, ঝালকাঠির আজমীর হোসেন তালুকদার, দ্বেবিদ্ধারের ইকবাল হোসেন রুবেল, উজ্জল ভুইয়া, কুমিল্লার সোহাগ আরেফিন, সাভারের আলী হোসেনকে সদস্য অন্তর্ভুক্ত করা হয়েছে।
