কেরানীগঞ্জে স্বেচ্ছাসেবকদলের সভাপতির বিরুদ্ধে মার্কেট দখলের অভিযোগ।

কেরানীগঞ্জের তেলঘাট এলাকায় ‘আসমা গার্ডেন সিটি’ নামে ৮ম তলা একটি মার্কেট দখলের অভিযোগ উঠেছে দক্ষিণ কেরানীগঞ্জ থানা স্বেচ্ছাসেবকদলের সভাপতি মো: সোহেলের বিরুদ্ধে। রবিবার সকালে মার্কেটের মালিক মো: রফিক এক সংবাদ সম্মেলনে এ অভিযোগ করেন। এসময় কেরানীগঞ্জ গার্মেন্টস ব্যবসায়ী সমিতির সাবেক সভাপতি আ: আজিজ শেখ, হাবিবুর রহমান হবি, আবু তাহেরসহ স্থানীয় গার্মেন্টস ব্যবসায়ীরা উপস্থিত ছিলেন।
জানা যায়, শনিবার দুপুরে সোহেল ও শাকিলের নেতৃত্বে ৪ শতাধিক লোক মার্কেট দখল নিতে আসে। এসময় তারা মার্কেটের কিছু অংশ ভাংচুর ও দোকানদারদের মারধর করে। পরে মার্কেটের দেয়ালে নাম পরিবর্তন করে ‘আহম্মেদ টাওয়ার’ নামে সাইনবোর্ড টানিয়ে দেয়।
ভুক্তভোগী ব্যবসায়ী (মার্কেটের মালিক) মো: রফিক বলেন, ২০০৭ সালে শুভাঢ্যা মৌজার আরএস ৯৮ খতিয়ানের ২ নং দাগে ১২ শতাংশ জমি ক্রয় সুত্রে মালিক হয়ে তিনি নামজারী করেন। হালনাগাদ খাজনাও পরিশোধ করা। ২০০৮ সালে ওই জমিতে তিনি বহুতল মার্কেট নির্মাণ করেন। বেশিরভাগ দোকানের পজিশন বিক্রি করে দিয়েছেন। গত ১৮ বছর ধরে তিনি মার্কেট ভোগদখল করে আসছেন। কিন্তু শনিবার হঠাৎ করে সন্ত্রাসী সোহেলের নেতৃত্বে ৪/৫ শ লোক অস্ত্র সস্ত্র নিয়ে মার্কেটে হামলা চালিয়ে সাইনবোর্ড টানিয়ে দেয়। এবিষয়ে তিনি থানায় অভিযোগ করেছেন।
মার্কেট দখলের বিষয়ে বক্তব্য জানতে সোহেলের মুঠোফোনে একাধিকবার কল দিলেও তিনি রিসিভ করেননি।
দক্ষিণ থানার ভারপ্রাপ্ত কর্মকর্তা মাজহারুল ইসলাম বলেন, এবিষয়ে একটি অভিযোগ পেয়েছি। তদন্ত করে আইনানুগ ব্যবস্থা নেয়া হবে।
