চাঁদপুর পৌরসভার ১১নং ওয়ার্ডে ওএমএস (ওপেন মার্কেট সেল) ডিলারের বিক্রয় কেন্দ্রের সামনে বসার টুল ও শাওনি টাঙিয়ে দিলেন পৌর ছাত্রদলের সিনিয়র যুগ্ম আহ্বায়ক বারেক ভূঁইয়া।

রবিবার সকালে তিনি নিজ উদ্যোগে বসার টুল ও শাওনি স্থাপন করে এলাকাবাসী ও ক্রেতা সাধারণের ভোগান্তি লাঘবের ব্যবস্থা করেন। এতে ওএমএস পণ্য নিতে আসা মানুষদের রোদ-বৃষ্টি থেকে সাময়িক আশ্রয় ও বসার সুবিধা হয়েছে।

এলাকাবাসী বারেক ভূঁইয়ার এই উদ্যোগে সন্তুষ্টি প্রকাশ করেন এবং বলেন— “জনসেবামূলক এই কাজটি সত্যিই প্রশংসনীয়। আমরা তার সফলতা ও সুস্বাস্থ্য কামনা করি।”

বারেক ভূঁইয়া বলেন, “জনগণের পাশে থাকা ও তাদের সমস্যার সমাধান করাই আমার রাজনীতির লক্ষ্য। মানুষের জন্য কাজ করতে পারলেই আমি সন্তুষ্ট।”

এই উদ্যোগের ফলে স্থানীয়ভাবে প্রশংসার জোয়ার বইছে।
