বুধবার (২১ জানুয়ারি) সকাল ১০টা থেকে দুপুর সাড়ে ১২টা পর্যন্ত নাটোর জেলা প্রশাসক কার্যালয়ের সভাকক্ষে আনুষ্ঠানিকভাবে প্রতীক বরাদ্দ দেওয়া হয়। অনুষ্ঠানে নাটোর জেলা প্রশাসক ও রিটানিং কর্মকর্তা আসমা শাহীন প্রার্থীদের হাতে প্রতীক তুলে দেন।
প্রতীক পাওয়ার পর তাৎক্ষণিক প্রতিক্রিয়ায় ফারজানা শারমিন পুতুল সাংবাদিকদের বলেন, তার রাজনৈতিক শক্তির মূল উৎস ভোটার ও কর্মী-সমর্থকরা। নিজেকে নাটোর -১ আসনের সাধারণ মানুষের প্রতিনিধি উল্লেখ করে বলেন, নির্বাচিত হলে এলাকার মানুষ যেভাবে চাইবেন, তাদের মতামত অনুযায়ী উন্নয়ন কার্যক্রম পরিচালনা করবেন। এবার সুষ্ঠু ও সুন্দর পরিবেশে নির্বাচন হবে এমন আশাবাদ ও ব্যক্ত করেন তিনি।
জেলা নির্বাচন কার্যালয় সূত্রে জানা যায়, নাটোর ১আসনে ( লালপুর – বাগাতি পারা) মোট ভোটার ৩ লাখ ৬৮ হাজার ৭২৬ জন।
